10th Anniversary of the Modern Internet

Hard to believe, but it has been 10 years since Netscape launched us into the modern internet age. Then again, it's hard to believe it has ONLY been 10 years, especially with everyone and their grandmother online, instant-messaging, blogging, and so on. This article from the UK press recaps some of the major year-by-year milestones. It's a quick and interesting read.

Hi Kevin,
This is a big step for me to post something on your blog. You know how I love email - I remember a few years ago when it took courage for me to send an email so who knows what will happen with blogging. Thanks for encouraging.
I did enjoy reading the article and remembering it wasn't that long ago when computers were not a part of everyday life.
Also liked the Bug Me Not site.

Kevin -

You will have awakened a sleeping giant now that you have got Mom signed up on blogging!

I remember when you brought over your computer for Kristen to use when you two were dating so you two could email. I remember being fascinated by the internet and email thing. Now, I can't imagine living without it. We had one of our servers go down and many of us couldn't access our files, email, internet and it basically meant that I could read up on my professional newsletters and magazines that I never have time to read and I cleaned out my office and all my files. It wasn't a very productive 2 days.

Did you read the practice reports on Orangebloods? Good stuff! Only like 21 days until kickoff. Did you get my email about FFL draft position?
