Oh yippee...I am so excited that I can hardly stand it. Seriously though, I am looking forward to dressing Sam & Seth in their Longhorn t-shirts/outfits and Sam running around our house yelling "Hook 'Em" and holding his fingers in a longhorn formation on game days. That will be pretty cute to see my 3 boys in burnt orange.
Now that's just sad!
Bryon and the boys are going to see Baylor play SMU at SMU next weekend.
I look forward to my "girl time" every fall!
Fall is FINALLY around the corner. Can't wait for the cool weather and the football!!!
UUGH!!It never really seems to end over here. Baseball is still going on, and now football. About the time the bowl games end, basketball has already started. And after that baseball, then footbal again..... And on the 2 days of the year that there aren't sports on TV, you can count on ther being a golf tournament.
On behalf of Lane...Geaux Tigers!
Now, now, Elizabeth... don't make me comb your blog archives and find all the references to how you claim to LOVE watching sports, especially Alabama football! ;-)
And Holly... at least it is almost the end of baseball season. How boring is that to watch on tv. Ugh, it's like watching paint dry. Same for golf. You gotta admit that football is SO much more exciting to watch than the other sports!
It's true, I do adore football. The sounds of cheering fans, cool air, chili on the stove. I can't wait!
I just don't like the Monday morning quarterback talk that I hear during the entire Sunday lunch!
"If only they woulda...They should have put in....We were this close....That stupid ref" Enough already!
Of course Alabama is my all time favorite. I root for my poor Baylor Bears and thanks to Bryon I am even coming around to rooting for UT except when they play the fearsome Bears! Good luck this season.
