Episode recap/review from TV Blend.
I enjoyed this episode. It was obviously a build-up to the holiday break finale, so it had a lot of back story. But, it was enjoyable seeing the beginnings of each of the character's powers - Matt's, Eden's, Claire's, Nathan's, Peter's.... Sylar's.

Watched in online on my lunch hour and really liked this episode, although it didn't answer a lot of questions that I still have (namely, how did Suresh create his list of names). Other thoughts:
01. Loved the relationship with Charlie and Hiro. So sad to see her die because of her aneurism, them not kissing and him losing the ability to time-travel.
02. Loved it when Hiro shouted "Great Scott" when he found out that he was talking to himself on the phone.
03. Powerful scene when Nathan flies out of the car (to escape danger) but then watches his wife crash in the car. No wonder he feels guilty about the crash. Also, he must not have known that he even had this power, or else he would have grabbed his wife to save her, too.
04. Good thing that Gabriel Gray was working on a "Sylar" watch when he decided to create his new identity. Somehow, a bad guy named "Casio" wouldn't be as effective.
05. So, we were correct when we guessed weeks ago that Sylar absorbs or copies the powers of others but does he have to kill them in order to obtain their power, or does he kill them so that he will be the only one that possesses that particular power?
Still, a great show with plenty of plot twists and characters to make it appealing, without becoming tiresome or bogged down.
Can't wait for next Monday!
